²⁰ For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

⁴ For he was crucified^(A) in weakness, but he lives^(B) by the power of God. For we also are weak in him,^(C) but in dealing with you we will live^(D) with him by God’s power.

¹⁶ They claim to know God,^(A) but they deny him by their works.^(B) They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.^(C)
