Tout frè ki isit la yo mete tèt ansanm avè m' pou ekri lèt sa a pou tout legliz ki nan peyi Galasi yo.

Nou mande Bondye, Papa nou, ansanm ak Jezikri, Seyè a, pou yo ban nou benediksyon ak kè poze.

¶ Mwen sezi wè jan nou prese vire do bay Bondye ki te rele nou, gremesi Kris la, pou n' al swiv yon lòt kalite bon nouvèl.

Pou di vre, pa gen okenn lòt bon nouvèl. Men, mwen di sa paske gen moun k'ap plede chaje tèt nou, ki vle chanje anpil bagay nan bon nouvèl Kris la.

Enben, si yon moun ta vin anonse nou yon lòt bon nouvèl ki pa menm ak sa nou te anonse nou an, moun sa a li te mèt se mwen menm, osinon yon zanj ki soti nan syèl, madichon pou li!

Mwen deja di nou sa, koulye a m'ap repete nou sa ankò: si yon moun vin anonse nou yon bon nouvèl ki pa menm ak sa nou te resevwa a, madichon pou li!

10 ¶ Lè mwen di sa, èske sa vle di se favè moun m'ap chache? Non. Se favè Bondye m'ap chache. Eske se plezi m'ap chache fè lèzòm plezi? Si m' t'ap chache fè lèzòm plezi, se pa Kris la mwen ta ap sèvi.

11 M'ap di nou sa, frè m' yo, bon nouvèl m'ap anonse a pa soti nan moun.

12 Paske mwen menm, mwen pa t' resevwa l' nan men pesonn, ni se pa yon moun ki te moutre m' li. Men, se Jezikri menm ki te fè m' konnen li.

13 Nou tande pale sa m' te konn fè nan tan lontan, lè m' te nan relijyon jwif yo. Nou konnen jan m' te san pitye lè m' t'ap pèsekite legliz Bondye a, jan m' t'ap chache kraze li.

14 Nan relijyon jwif yo mwen te pi fò pase anpil moun nan ras mwen ki te menm laj avè mwen. Mwen te pi cho pase yo pou defann koutim zansèt nou yo.

15 Men, Bondye fè m' favè l', li mete m' apa depi nan vant manman m', li rele m' pou m' te ka sèvi li.

16 Konsa, lè se te lide l' pou l' te fè m' konnen Pitit li a, pou m' te ka anonse bon nouvèl li a nan mitan moun ki pa jwif yo, wi, lè sa a, mwen pa t' al mande pesonn konsèy.

17 Mwen pa t' moute Jerizalèm non plis pou m' al wè moun ki te apòt anvan m' yo. Men, mwen te pati la menm pou peyi Arabi. Apre sa, mwen tounen tounen m' lavil Damas.

18 Sou twazan, mwen moute lavil Jerizalèm pou m' te fè konesans ak Pyè. Mwen rete kenz jou lakay li.

19 Lè sa a, mwen pa t' wè okenn nan lòt apòt yo, esepte Jak, frè Seyè a.

20 Sa m'ap ekri nou la a, se vre wi. Mwen pran Bondye pou temwen, mwen p'ap bay manti.

21 Apre sa, mwen te ale nan peyi Siri ak Silisi.

22 Pandan tout tan sa a, manm legliz Kris la ki te nan peyi Jide a pa t' ankò rekonèt mwen.

23 Yo te sèlman konn tande moun ap di yo: Nonm ki t'ap pesekite nou nan tan lontan an, koulye a men l'ap mache anonse bon nouvèl li te vle kraze a.

24 Yo t'ap fè lwanj Bondye pou tèt mwen.

Se mwen menm Apot Pòl k ap salye nou. Se pa ni yon gwoup moun, ni yon moun an patikilye ki banm otorite m kòm apot, men se Jezikris[a] ak Bondye Papa a ki te resisite Kris la. Mwen menm ak tout frè ak sè ki nan fanmi Bondye a avè m yo, n ap ekri lèt sa a voye pou nou menm moun legliz Galasi[b] yo.

Mwen mande Bondye, papa nou, ak Jezikris, Senyè a, pou yo fè nou anpil favè epi ban nou kè poze. Jezi te bay lavi li pou peye dèt peche nou yo, pou l delivre nou anba move bagay ki nan mond sa a. Se sa menm Bondye Papa nou te vle. Tout glwa se pou Bondye pou tout tan! Amèn.

Gen yon sèl Levanjil

Mwen sezi wè kijan nou gentan vire do bay Bondye. Se Bondye ki te fè nou favè, li sove nou gras ak Jezikris. Kounye a nou vle aksepte yon lòt levanjil. Lè m di sa a, sa pa vle di gen yon lòt levanjil vre non. Men, gen kèk moun k ap vire lòlòj nou, lè y ap eseye chanje mesaj Levanjil Kris la. Men sa m ap di nou: menmsi se ta youn nan nou menm apot yo, menmsi se ta yon anj ki soti nan syèl la, ki ta vin preche nou yon Levanjil ki depaman ak sa nou te resevwa a, se pou malediksyon Bondye tonbe sou li. Nou te di nou sa deja, kounye a m ap repete l ankò: si nenpòt moun preche nou yon levanjil ki depaman ak sa nou te resevwa a, se pou malediksyon Bondye tonbe sou li.

10 Lè m pale konsa, èske nou wè m sonnen tankou moun k ap chache fè moun plezi? Non, se Bondye m ap chache fè plezi! Si m t ap chache fè moun plezi, mwen pa t ap yon sèvitè Jezikris.

Levanjil Pòl preche a soti nan Bondye

11 Frè ak sè m yo, mwen vle fè nou konnen Levanjil m ap preche a pa soti nan lòm. 12 Paske se pa moun ki te ban mwen l, ni se pa moun ki te anseye m li. Se Jezikris ki te fè m konnen Levanjil sa a.

13 Se vre, nou tande kijan m te konn aji, lè m t ap viv dapre tradisyon Juif yo. Nou konnen m te konn pèsekite legliz Bondye a san gad dèyè, epi m t ap chache detwi l. 14 Nan sa k konsène tradisyon Juif yo, mwen te pi fanatik pase tout lòt Juif ki te gen menm laj avè m. Mwen te pi devwe pase yo tout nan asire tout moun swiv tradisyon zansèt nou yo.

15 Men, li te nan plan Bondye pou l te mete m apa pou li depi nan vant manman m,[c] epi li te rele m nan gras li. 16 Epitou, lè Bondye te deside fè m wè aklè ki lès Pitit li a ye, poutèt pou m te ka pale de li pami moun ki pa Juif yo, mwen pa t kouri al mande okenn moun konsèy. 17 Ni mwen pa t al nan legliz Jerizalèm nan pou m te wè moun ki te apot anvan m yo. Olye m te fè sa, mwen t al yon kote ki rele Arabi, epi pita mwen te retounen nan lavil Damas.

18 Twazan apre Bondye te fin rele m nan,[d] m t al nan legliz Jerizalèm nan pou m te ka fè konesans ak Pyè.[e] Mwen te pase kenz jou avè l. 19 Men, mwen pa t wè okenn lòt apot, eksepte Jak, frè Segnè a. 20 Devan Bondye, tout sa m ap di nou la a nan lèt sa a se verite a. 21 Apre sa, mwen t ale nan rejyon Siri ak Silisi.

22 Men, pandan tout tan sa a, frè ak sè nan legliz Jezikris ki nan Jide yo pa t janm konnen m. 23 Sèlman tande yo te konn tande pale de mwen. Yo te konn tande moun ap di: “Men nonm ki te konn ap pèsekite nou an ap anonse menm bagay li te konn ap chache kraze a.” 24 Akòz mwen menm, kwayan sa yo te tonbe fè lwanj pou Bondye.

Paul, an apostle(A)—sent not from men nor by a man,(B) but by Jesus Christ(C) and God the Father,(D) who raised him from the dead(E) and all the brothers and sisters[a] with me,(F)

To the churches in Galatia:(G)

No Other Gospel

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called(M) you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel(N) which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion(O) and are trying to pervert(P) the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you,(Q) let them be under God’s curse!(R) As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted,(S) let them be under God’s curse!

10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people?(T) If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Paul Called by God

11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters,(U) that the gospel I preached(V) is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man,(W) nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation(X) from Jesus Christ.(Y)

13 For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism,(Z) how intensely I persecuted the church of God(AA) and tried to destroy it.(AB) 14 I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous(AC) for the traditions of my fathers.(AD) 15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb(AE) and called me(AF) by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles,(AG) my immediate response was not to consult any human being.(AH) 17 I did not go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia. Later I returned to Damascus.(AI)

18 Then after three years,(AJ) I went up to Jerusalem(AK) to get acquainted with Cephas[b] and stayed with him fifteen days. 19 I saw none of the other apostles—only James,(AL) the Lord’s brother. 20 I assure you before God(AM) that what I am writing you is no lie.(AN)

21 Then I went to Syria(AO) and Cilicia.(AP) 22 I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea(AQ) that are in Christ.(AR) 23 They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith(AS) he once tried to destroy.”(AT) 24 And they praised God(AU) because of me.
