Isaiah 17:12-14
New American Standard Bible 1995
12 Alas, the uproar of many peoples
(A)Who roar like the roaring of the seas,
And the rumbling of nations
Who rush on like the (B)rumbling of mighty waters!
13 The (C)nations rumble on like the rumbling of many waters,
But He will (D)rebuke them and they will flee far away,
And be chased (E)like chaff in the mountains before the wind,
Or like whirling dust before a gale.
14 At evening time, behold, there is terror!
Before morning (F)they are no more.
[a]Such will be the portion of those who plunder us
And the lot of those who pillage us.

Isaiah 29:8
New American Standard Bible 1995
8 It will be as when a hungry man dreams—
And behold, he is eating;
But when he awakens, his [a]hunger is not satisfied,
Or as when a thirsty man dreams—
And behold, he is drinking,
But when he awakens, behold, he is faint
And his [b]thirst is not quenched.
(A)Thus the multitude of all the nations will be
Who wage war against Mount Zion.
