⁸⁶ All Your commandments are faithful and sure. [The godless] pursue and persecute me with falsehood; help me [Lord]!

⁸⁷ They had almost consumed me upon earth, but I forsook not Your precepts.

⁸⁸ According to Your steadfast love give life to me; then I will keep the testimony of Your mouth [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].
