16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things [a]for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.
17 [b]And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add [c]unto them, God shall add [d]unto him the plagues which are written in this book:

17 The Spirit(G) and the bride(H) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.(I)
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:(J) If anyone adds anything to them,(K) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.(L)
